Patra’s Administrative Court of First Instance annuls tax authority’s decisions imposing taxes and fines of total €270,000

By judgments No. 532, 536 και 537/2015, Patra’s Administrative Court of First Instance (single-member) accepted the actions brought before it and annulled decisions of the tax authority imposing fines under the Code of Accounting Books Records (KVS), the VAT Code and further imposing income tax and VAT, totaling around €270,000, with the allegation that the applicant company accepted fake invoices for fictitious transactions. The Court found that the transactions under examination were real and that, in addition, the applicant company was in good faith with regards to the issuer of the invoices. Christos Golfinopoulos represented the applicant company.
